Our story

Founded in 2006 in the Phoenix-metro area, Invenio Search Group was built on a simple premise: manufacturing, distribution, and logistics organizations deserve technology and leadership recruiting that actually understands how their operations run.

For over two decades, we've partnered with manufacturers, distributors, 3PLs, and the supply chain software companies that support them — recruiting CIOs, VPs of IT, directors, and the senior and staff-level engineers who run ERP, MES, WMS, TMS, OT/IT, and data platforms across the US.

While generic tech recruiting firms treat operations as an afterthought, we've made it our focus. We understand plant floors, distribution centers, and the reality that every senior technology hire either accelerates a modernization program or sets it back a year.

John Waslefsky

With over 20 years in technology recruiting, John built Invenio Search Group to fill a gap he saw in the market: manufacturers, distributors, and logistics organizations were being underserved by generic tech recruiting firms that didn't understand operations.

John's approach is hands-on and relationship-driven. He personally manages CIO, VP, and director-level searches, leverages a deep network of technology professionals built over two decades in the space, and takes pride in the long-term partnerships he's built with both clients and candidates.

Based in Arizona, John serves clients nationally and is known for his direct communication style, deep operations-technology market knowledge, and genuine investment in every placement's success.
